Can you control it?
Not directly
No, not directly. Relevance describes a learned property, observed result, or broader concept rather than a normal user setting. You may influence it indirectly by changing the tool, data, prompt, or workflow.
Common questions
- Can a very detailed answer still be irrelevant?
- Yes. Length does not make unrelated information useful for the task.
- Can the AI misread an unstated goal?
- Yes. If the purpose is unclear, it may answer a different question from the one intended.
- Is relevance the same for every reader?
- No. Different roles and needs can make the same information more or less useful.
