Common questions
- Can the same event be delivered more than once?
- Yes. Retries can produce duplicate notifications, so the receiver may need to recognize them.
- Can a notification arrive late?
- Yes. Network or service problems can delay delivery.
- Does receiving a webhook prove who sent it?
- Not by itself. The receiving application should verify the sender using the agreed method.
