Yes
Yes. You can often use or adjust zero-shot prompting directly when the product supports it. The available options and their effect still depend on the tool.
Common questions
- Does zero-shot mean the AI has never encountered a similar task?
- No. It may have learned related patterns earlier; the current request simply supplies no worked example.
- Is it always worse than giving examples?
- No. Clear, familiar tasks may work well without additional demonstrations.
- Can an unfamiliar format make it struggle?
- Yes. Without a demonstration, the system may interpret the requested structure differently from what you intended.
